I get to the splash screen (where the date and time is), when I hit enter or left click I get the "Please wait" and the rotating circle. After quite a while I get the splash screen again. When this happened in the past I did remove the mouse and keyboard and that worked but not this time. I used a bootable USB but I wasn't able to access the restore programs and I don't want to wipe the machine.
Before this happened I tried to "repair my PC" using the buitin options under advanced but it reported it was unable to repair. Then the above started!
