Hi guys. So here's the deal, i'm just have my own build pc and i think it's pretty good. I'm heading to streaming video games (league) and recording walkthrough of modern games but the problem is when i recording, i always have to deal with the painfully fps drop which is pretty annoying to me. i've tried dxtory, bandicam and fraps but none of them can give me good result. I've tried to configure the settings as good as possible but it still not working that good. Ex: without recording, my FPS on COD AW is always above 150, commonly is on 200 with high settings but when i used the recording program, i only get around 30 to 50 and i drives me crazy.

Is there any ideas you guys have? thank you very much and sorry for my very bad english

My pc :
i7 4790k 4,6ghz
SLI gtx970 g1 gaming 1300mhz
8gb 1600mhz ram
850w gold psu

Most times the frame rate will also drop to match the recording speed. This makes for a smoother video.

These low compression videos also require much more hard drive bandwidth so try to record to a second drive if you can.

Since you have GTX970s I recommend you try shadow play(it is a part of Nvidia's Geforce experience.). It has very little impact, the video is compressed by the card it self and while not quite as good as Fraps can be will have MUCH smaller files thus less load on the storage system.

I have the 4790k and the GTX 970 too. Yours are in SLI so even better.

What are your settings in Fraps that you are using to record? Set them to this and it should work out a lot better for you:

Also try and unpark your CPU cores. This gives you a better overall framerate in games and could help you in recording.

To unpark cores, use this program:
