hi all, I'm new on here please be gentle..
To start my PC consists of the following:
1600mhz 16gb ram
amd fx4130 CPU
hd7870 2gb twin forza GPU
hd7850 2gb twin forza GPU (^crossfire^)
corsair cx750m PSU
250gb ssd
2tb hdd
corsair h80i
4x 120mm fans
2x 140mm fans
all tucked into a corsair 300R case.
nothing is over clocked
my problem is that i cant play games on my PC anymore without it maxing out my CPU and crashing the game, sometimes even shutting the hole thing down with a blue screen and CPU overload warning.. Ive also had a directx 3d app error a few times. as for everything else i use my PC for it fine i can run multiple programs without a hitch and CPU stays stable with low usage.
games i play are Dayz, arma3, COD, and far-cry, all multi-player mainly, Ive not had problems in the past but its been a month now of this problems and Ive done everything me and my online buddy's can think of.
Ive tried a complete re install of drivers, a complete re install of windows/program/games, installed OTT cooling methods just in case, Ive striped it down and made sure every component is seated right and used malware bytes and other anti virus software.
i am stumped!
Ive been told its my CPU bottle necking my capability but it was fine before?.
if anyone's got any ideas it will be much appreciated
