Hi THW, I've been doing quite a lot of research and have poked around a few builds but can't set my mind on one that suits my needs,
Games: Skyrim, Arma 2-3, Dayz mod (cpu intensive games) Bf4 Bf3 CSGO Insurgency at atleast 40-60 FPS on at 1080p with high settings and a bit of tweaking, (nothing to demanding though)
Needed components: Wireless adapter, 1080p monitor anything more than 23" is not needed.

Approximate Purchase Date: Sometime around Christmas. so like 1-2 weeks
Budget Range: 800-900 AUD (Australian Dollar)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Surfing, Online Streaming wireless

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Parts to Upgrade: None

Do you need to buy OS: No, My friend has a copy

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Any online cheap Australian Retailers, CPL-Online PCCG etc

Location: Newcastle, NSW, Australia

Parts Preferences: Intel for CPU, And AMD for GPU due to it being less expensive But I'm open to others.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: I need a 1080p monitor, nothing above 24" please.

Additional Comments: I need a monitor, The desktop, wireless adapter
I Want to play Skyrim somewhat heavily modded at a comfortable 40-50 FPS or more if possible.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I've used laptops and they don't suit my needs for smooth gamign so I thought i'd invest in a gaming PC. This is my first build.
Thanks for your help in advance!

280 is slightly slower than 770
and 280x is slightly faster than/or equal to 770

so now since we can remove monitor from our budget, thus here is some modification to first rig ( added 280x dd black edition , also replaced the smps with better one)

That looks great mate thanks, But you forgot the power supply :p maybe you could downgrade on the gpu or something and the optical drive (wont need it) to add room for a power supply.

here i have 2 builds
first one is above your budget but is better ( except smps because people say that vs series is not good, but i think it is good provided that people don't max out it and don't overclock )
second one is in your budget and with good smps but inferior cpu

I'm liking the first one, But I just found out I have a 900p monitor spare which will be fine to use so that saves me $130 so I can spend more on a better GPU, What would be the nvidia option be opposed to the r9 280 DD?
