Not to sound rude but the whole point of this was to keep it under 600 dollars.

It's just that 2 companies made the card. It's like having 2 different motherboard with the same cpu. They will both perform the same they just have different outputs and cooling solutions, and power delivery which makes a difference in overclocking but they are both good so you will be fine with either one. The powercolor one is cheaper which is why I chose that one.

Just read a whole bunch of reviews that say its DoA with bad drivers and such, true information or no?

I recommend sticking with the stock cooler. If you feel like you want to squeeze some extra performance than get an aftermarket one, but start off with stock. You might also be able to use h series boards to overclock, they might have changed that though but I know you could have.

Do you think its safer to stay with the twin frozen ones? Ive read and watched such good things about it. Also, do you think the original PC i posted will run my requests?

I still suggest H series and stock cooler. If you look at his anandtech post every pentium got to 4 ghz except one but even that one was at 3.8. Many were in the 4.3-4.5 ghz range which is good. This is why he should try out stock cooler first then add an aftermarket one later if he wants to, and the h series boards seem to work just fine.

They don't recommend it. They say you can use it. Buit its more fiddling around trying to get the bios mod. Then it doesn't OC as well as a Z97.

That's why I recommend the Z97 Anniversary mobo - its cheap but made especially for using with the anniversary pentium.
