Hello guys,
so i would like to choose laptop for Audio production. It will be used mainly for programs like Cubase, pro tools, apple studio and so on. here are my questions:

1. CPU: Pentium Quad-Core N3530 , or i3 - 4030u, or amd a4-5000, or amd a10-7300. which of these will be enough for stable performance? ( if a4-5000 can do the job, i wont go for a10-7300, for doing the same job better - that is my point here )

2. RAM - will 4 gb be enough for starter? and should i invest my bucks in more RAM , rathen in Cpu?

3.i guess i dont need dedicated graphics.

4. other???
feel free to staitng other opinins about the issue and THANKS FOR SUPPORT :)

Will you be mastering, or live multitrack recording? A fast solid state drive will make a ton of difference dealing with audio.

As far as CPU goes, I would suggest Intel for best performance, i3 will be able to handle most multichannel recordings fine (as long as your not doing crazy 512 channel stuff).

As far as RAM is concerned, what audio quality will you be producing at?
16bit 44.1Khz? 4gb should be fine.
24bit 192Khz? I would probably lean toward 8gb (perhaps even 4 here depending on the number of channels).

Just some number crunching 'out loud'
16bit x 44100hz x 16 channels = 1378.125 kb/s
x 8 minutes =~ 646 megabytes

24bit x 192000hz x 16 channels = 9000 kb/s
x 8 minutes = 4218.75 megabytes
(I would go 8 gig of ram in...

Checkout the software you intend to run's minimum/recommended requirements to get the best idea of what you'll need as a baseline. Seems Cubase doesn't require alot, Pro Tools 11 however requires a 64bit system/OS, and recommend a dedicated graphics card (who knew?).

From Pro Tools website:
Computer: Avid-qualified Windows-based computer
Total System RAM: 4GB minimum, 8GB (or more) recommended
Windows OS Compatibility Grid
Additional Notes:
Pro Tools 11 requires 64-bit Windows operating systems
Windows 8 standard and Pro editions are supported
Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate editions are supported (Service Pack 1 only)

Additional Requirements

iLok 2: Original iLok 1 not supported
Avid Audio Interfaces, Peripherals, and Control Surfaces
Audio Drive Requirements: One or More Hard Disk Drives Dedicated for Audio Record and Playback
System Hard Drive: Minimum 15GB free space on startup drive required for Pro Tools installation
Graphics Card: Dedicated Graphics Card highly recommended
Video Peripherals
Third Party Audio Interfaces
Audio File Type & Session Support:
Supported: BWF, AIFF, MXF
Not Supported: SD2 audio files and Pro Tools 4.x sessions and lower
Pro Tools 10.3.6 or higher automatically converts SD2 audio files to compatible audio files
