Which is good for gaming assassin's creed unity and farcry 4 like games and also upcoming games on fullhd monitor at maxed settings...? I want 40-60fps in next gen games.

^ yes it does mate - to get the most from a 6300 you need a semi- decent cooler & motherboard & run the chip at 4ghz minimum - this is very easily achievable.

A 6300 with a 970 will give better gaming performance that the i5 with a 760 (the 760 is fairly weak now for newer titles & is firmly mid range class at best now)

FGX 6300 will 'usually' do 4.4 GHz +/-100MHz on stock voltage.

FX 8320 or even the 8370e would be good options.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO will be good for any of those CPUs for up to 4.5GHz or so.

I've been very happy with my FX 8350 + GTX 970. Runs everything I like to play like an i7.

^ yes you can my friend :)
that little Matx board has fairly decent MOSFETs & vrm heat sinking.
You can push to 4ghz easily mate ,trust me,built nearly a dozen systems using that same combo all run at 4ghz no problems on stock voltages.
You just need a semi-decent cooler ,used a cheapsh zalman cnps5x on the last 2 builds & its solid as a rock for a 4ghz overclock.

Consider the FX 6350 then. Higher stock and boost speeds while still low current draw.

Or just keep your FX 6300 OC in the 4.2-4.3GHz range and stick to stock voltages.

if you can see it turboing to 3.9GHz... disable turbo mode and change the core clock to 3.9GHz. problem solved. although i would try 4ghz and run a few stress test and play some cpu demanding games like crysis 3, and if you BSOD, change it back to 3.9, i had to do this on my old 8320 on an M5A97 LE R2.0 Mobo. Although use an aftermarket cooler.
