My external Hard drive stopped working so I managed to recover my data but when i formatted it, it did not work then I tried to wipe it but that did not work either so then i used the (kill) funksjon on killdisksuit and everything on the hard drive is now completely gone. I have downloaded the driver for the external hard drive but i dont know how to install it.
The hard drive is (Intenso 2.5" 750GB)

When the hard drive stopped working i checked it on 2 other computers and it still didn't work so I opened up disk management and it said that it was "RAW" And I was not able to format, thats why I use killdisksuite to clean everything of it when i did that and tried to connect it to my computer it did not show up under my computer where all the other hard drives are located thats why i thought that i needed to install a driver to it or firmware like you suggested, but then I went into disk management and i saw that the disk was there but didn't have a letter or volume so i made a volume for it and formatted it and now i works :) Thanks for the help and quick response :)
Hey -Jensen. Usually it's not normal for a drive to stop working on its own. I'd suggest that you first download the manufacturer's diagnostic tool or third party diagnostic software, to test the drive with it and see what's the situation. I'd also suggest that you try the drive with another computer to see if the same thing happens. There shouldn't be any specific drivers for an HDD, perhaps you mean firmware?

Hope that helps.
