Hello there,

I rebuilt my i5 4670k system a couple of months ago with X79 hardware, specifically using the Core i7 4820k. I have been told that it is a great overclocker with decent motherboards. I used a Gigabyte X79-UD3, which has gained world records because of the overclocking it provides. I would like someone with experience with this board and CPU, or just anyone who know anything about overclocking, to tell me which optimal settings to use in the BIOS for a overclock of about 4.5GHz.

I am no way a beginner and have a fair amount of experience.I have tried overclocking before, but I couldn't get the 4820k over 4.3GHz without stability issues, not sure what I was doing wrong.

System Specs:

Intel Core i7 4820k @Stock (Soon to be changed)
Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3 (Latest BIOS)
8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport @1600MHz
ASUS GeForce GTX 680 DirectCUII
Corsair H100 w/ 2x Noctua F12 Fans
Corsair CX750M
Fractal Define R4 Arctic White

Can anyone help me out.

Thanks greatly,
Thomas.
