USB devices randomly shut off

My external hard drive was randomly shutting on and off, I don't know what the problem is.
Then it started happening with my wireless mouse. At first I thought the battery was bad so I replaced it. But now I realize it's something with my custom built (built it about a week and a half ago).

Here's my build:

CASE - Corsair Carbide 200R - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009GXZ8MM/
MOTHERBOARD - ASUS Z97-AR - http://www.amazon.com/Asus-Z97-AR-LGA-1150-ATX/dp/B00KVLIOI8/
CPU - Intel i5 4960K - http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-Processor-BX80646I54690K/dp/B00KPRWB9G/
FAN - Hyper 212 EVO- http://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-212-RR-212E-20PK-R2/dp/B005O65JXI/
GPU - EVA GTX 750Ti - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IDG3IDO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
RAM - HyperX Fury 8GB(2x4GB) - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J8E93G6/
SSD - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB - http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-250GB-2-5-Inch-Internal-MZ-7TE250BW/dp/B00E3W1726/
POWERSUPPLY - EVGA 430W 80PLUS - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H33SDR4/

Do I need a power supply with more watts? Is that why my USB devices are shutting off?

Thanks!

Thanks! I knew a feature like this existed, but never knew how to disable it.
I hope that will solve the issue.

Well I return with bad news.
That didn't solve the issue, as the USB devices randomly disconnect while I am using them.
Usually this causes applications that are located on the external hard drive to stop responding. :(

Perhaps it is the power supply? When I was building the PC I used a few online watt-calculators. They all displayed extremely different numbers so I decided to go with the 430W adapter. Maybe I should have gone higher, 500W?

Thanks!
