I recently purchased Advanced Warfare on Steam, but unfortunately I am having some serious issues with it.
My specs are as follows:
FX 8350@4Ghz
R9 290@1Ghz
8GB DDR3 @1600Mhz
SSD Samsung 840 EVO
I am trying to run the game at 1080p, but I am not able to run it on low or high settings.
I use MSI Afterburner, and I noticed that my page file usage went up to 15GB when playing Advanced Warfare. Since the page file is on my SSD (system managed) my SSD usage was at 100% and was doing reading/writing at around 50MB/s. I also had many CPU spikes (up to 100%) throughout the menu and game play, but it usually stayed at around 50%.
After starting the game and getting into the menu the game would often freeze, and hang around 24fps or 45fps. The CPU usage would stay at 100% for about 20 seconds, before dropping back to it's usual usage.
