Hello, so i got my windows 8 installed to my 128gb SSD, but now when i install some programs it doesn't give me the option to install it to my 1TB HDD. As i don't want anything on my SSD apart from OS & Google.

So how do i make my HDD (D drive) have all my program files and downloads, so it automatically downloads there?

Thanks

1. You do NOT want all applications to automatically install to the HDD. Many/most of them, you actually want on the SSD.
Yes, even a 128GB SSD. My 120GB Kingston has the OS and all applications...currently ~70GB used space.

If you have only the OS on the SSD, you are throwing away a lot of the capability of it.

2. For the things that really take up space (doc/music/movies/etc) see this:

Win 8.1: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2024314/windows-redirecting-folders-drives.html

Ok cool, cause i got like 30gb games. So i can basically put half the file on the ssd and redirect it to hhd? And still get ssd speeds?

30GB of games, or one 30GB game?
With Steam games, you can assign multiple locations. Some on the SSD, some on the HDD.
