Which one would be a better investment? They all cost around the same price, and I need to pick one over the others. Whichever one is picked, it is for gaming.

With the 970 you can take advantage of using a 144Hz monitor if you ever decide to get one later, or perhaps get a 2nd 970 and get a 1440p monitor. PC definitely beats console. Plus you don't have to pay to play online for PC, excluding MMOs :D

Well, I think i can still gather up even more than the 430 ish dollars i have right now and get a console aswell. If I had to pick from PS4 and Xbox One for gaming, what should it be? Im pretty confident with the PS4 but I used to have a Xbox.

If you're going for console too, I'm not sure, I heard the Xbone makes you force download your games before you can play it, waste of space probably because they want you to buy more hard drives. I'm not sure if this is the same case with the PS4. I sort of ditched consoles when I moved onto 4k gaming, lol.

If you worry about controller support, more and more PC games are coming with controller support if you don't like to use mouse&keyboard. I'd just save the extra $ for a 2nd 970 later then get up to 1440p gaming. Much better experience on PC than consoles.

Everything looks good maybe except for the RAM, that manufacturer doesn't have a good reputation from what I have heard. I'd go for G.Skill for RAM, like Trident X if you want to upgrade later. The newer games are using more and more RAM, so I'd go up to 16GB later, but right now you're okay. Better to have some breathing room than hitting to the limit. Also, if you're really into gaming, I'd get like a Samsung 840 evo SSD so you can put your OS and favorite games onto it to load faster, especially the OS. You can put the games you don't play much onto the HDD. That's about it for upgrades to consider, but your build looks all good, you'll have a great game experience with the new 970 :)

Edit: And like I said, if you ever decide to move on to 1440p gaming, you should get a 2nd 970 and you'll have no problems at all gaming at 1440p, a lot of people seems to enjoy it a lot :)

thanks, and my current monitor is flat screen and i have 2 of them, but they are about a inch think and don't look like they were made for dual screen gaming. and my current computer is a old dell pentium 4. i knew it was time for a upgrade and my new computer should be coming in soon ;). Any suggestions on the monitors? I'm not looking towards triple display, but possibly dual. or just get one new monitor and smack it in the middle using a alt display like hdmi and the other two on dvi but the monitor in the middle might look nicer in display than the outside two.

Do you need anything else? :) If you need advice on 1440p later you can ask me or make a thread about it and there should a lot of other people that knows a lot about 1440p. Especially how fast and how many people are considering into 1440p gaming since 4k is still unavailable for most people.
