I am looking for a gaming PC build for anywhere between $650 and $700. I need an OS (preferably Windows 8.1), a keyboard and mouse, and an optical drive included in the price. This is the list I have right now, but feel free to suggest other things. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3BDGHx

Solution
For just $7 more, this is way better and more reliable. This XFX psu is much better than that Thermaltake

I've done this a dozen times and have never had any issues. I've never even heard of that.

First of all. G3258 is up-gradable to an i5 or i7 later without buying anything else because there will be no bottleneck issues. A G3258 can even handle a GTX 970 easily. My point is that Intel has better upgrade path than AMD

The cooler, Hyper 212 Evo, can bring your CPU temperature down to 30 degree celsius at idle and probably mid 45s at load. I run my 212 Evo at full speed. IT DOESNT MAKE A NOISE.

The motherboard is really great especially for handling overclocking.

G.Skill Sniper Series are one of the best (not the best) RAMs out there. I have one myself and its really amazing. I dont know why but it's a really good memory.

Video Card. For your budget range, this is the best one I can suggest you. Nothing will be bottlenecked and you can play with VSync on 1080p
