I am upgrading my pc for gaming. After some search i found these components good and they are in my budget also.
Gpu-zotac Gtx 970 4gb
Cpu-intel core i3 4150
Mobo-Gigabyte GA H81M S1
Ram- transend jetram 1600 mhz
Psu- seasonic eco500

I want to know that this rig is good for gaming for 2-3 years at 1366 *768 res

My budget is tight and i also want to know that is there any bottlenecking issue of i3 with gtx 970...?

Solution
The only thing i would consider an issue with that setup would be the i3 cpu - it probably would be bottlenecking the gpu - if you could stretch to an i5 i would do so. The i3 is fine as a general purpose pc but for gaming an i5 or i7 is the go - especially with a 970

But i5 is expensive for me..... I know i3 will bottleneck gtx 970 but i have no choice some people said that it will bottleneck a little. Reduce 5-7 fps of gtx 970 in gaming

I understand your position in relation to budget - but another thing to keep in mind is some of the games coming out now require an i5 (or similar) as MINIMUM specs...if you want a decent gaming pc for the next 2-3 years an i3 will struggle - i am not saying it wont work - just that it will struggle to keep up for 2-3 years...

The GTX 970 is an extreme overkill for 1366x768 you should just go with a GTX 750 Ti. I mean the 970 runs everything on max at 1080p which is about two times more pixels than 768p. Knowing that if the game would run at 60 fps at 1080p you would get over 90 or over 100 fps on 768p and I highly doubt that you have a 120 hz monitor so you would pay 200 dollars more and you wouldn't be able to use it's full potential. And since you. Are on a tight bugget the 750 Ti seems like a better deal. Upgrade latter if you need to but you probably won't.

Go for r9 270x or r9 285 and i5 4590 and any h81 board this will max out every game on that resolution and 1080p for more than 2 years
or just tale r7 265 and that i3 but only for your resolution and will last 2 or 3 years

If you will upgrade to a 1080p monitor in a year then take a faster graphics card as Alaa said an r9 series as the r9 285 or the r9 270x. Also i've checked about your supply and it seems that it's not for north american power grid so you won't be able to use it if you are in north america. And if you take a faster graphics card as the r9 series you should take a 600W PSU to be sure that the system has enough power if needed.

I am from india. And many people said that gtx 970 is more powerful than r9 290. I watch some videos on youtube and find gtx 970 beat r9 290 in gaming. Then why you people are saying that get a r9 series gpu for 1080p gaming...?

Because the GTX 750 Ti won't be good enough for 1080p for max settings and because the 970 is more than enough as is the r9 290. You would be spending more money and you wouldn't be able to tell a difference between the r9 285 and GTX 970. There are graphics cards made for every need. What you need is for gaming. If you are going to upgrade to a 1080p 60 hz then the r9 285 will max every single game there is. If you would go for a 970 you wouldn't be able to tell the difference because the extra frames that the graphics card renders are not shown on the monitor. The 970 would render 70 frames but the screen will show only 60. The 970 makes sense on displays as 2560x1440 or for 1080p monitors that are 120hz or 144hz. The GTX 970 does beat the r9 290 but you do not need more than an r9 285 for a 1080p 60 hz monitor. Also the GTX 760 wouldn't be enough and less than an r9 270x wouldn't be enough.

In my country they both are almost in same price r9 285 and gtx 970. So why should i go with a r9 285 instead of gtx970 which is very powerful than r9 285... I will upgrade to a fullhd monitor and an i5 in a year for now i3 runs good with gtx 970..? Is it is to run ac unity like games on ultra settings on 30+ fps at 1366 *768 res for 1 year...?
