How much vram will it use at 1440p with 4k textures and a lot of heavy mods. I'm thinking this because I don't know if I should get the 4gb 970 or wait for the 8gb.
4gb should be enough, just because you would use 6gb of that 8gb doesn't necessary mean 4gb would limit the performance.
Before I upgraded my gpu, I ran it at 1080p but heavily modded without a problem on my 1gb card.
