Hello, recently put together a new PC with the current specs:

i5-4690k (NH-U14S fan)
Asrock Z97 Extreme 6
G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB x 2
EVGA 850WG2
Samsung 850Pro 256gb ssd
WD Blue 1tb hdd
XFX DD r9 290 GPU

Everything is working fine except the GPU is not displaying when connected to my monitor. The fans/LEDs on the card are all running as well. In the BIOS, I made sure that the GPU will boot instead of the integrated graphics but to no avail. In the system browser, it shows the PCIe slot which the card is in as empty. I've tried putting the card into different PCIe slots but also came up empty in the browser. I've tried some of the simpler solutions shown in the forum but to no results.

im dealing with the same problem, also with no success. Ive spent hours trying to figure out whats the problem, but the longer it takes, the more its draining my sanity. Im close to giving up. But i wish you best and hope you solve your problem.
Things ive tried:
Full reset bios
set pci-e as primary in bios
disable Integrated graphics in both windows and bios
switched power supplies (cause i got a new one with the gpu yesterday)

Also you can check, if your gpu is connected to the psu.

Definitely have. RMA would suck as I got the card from Amazon so trying to avoid that option at all cost.

Currently using an HDMI cable. Will pick up a DVI cable soon if that's the solution. Only a 6+2 pin & a 6 pin are connected from my GPU to my PSU.

Nothing looked out of place. Regarding the beeps, the only way I would know is through my monitor (in-built speakers)

Have boot up repeatedly with the lid off. No beep codes.

Most MB's don't come with a speaker. Your's has it? They always come with a header connection for one however. BTW, only you can remove solved status. You must have done so by mistake.

Your right, there is a header for one. (Not very savvy on PC building aside from putting it together with instruction so I can't assume to know what everyone is talking about without some extensive googling) Also, don't have the option of removing solved status.
