How to reattach Z87-C pin socket cover?

Solution
the plastic cover should be the same size as the cpu pcb so should fit perfectly. mate regardless of make and model all the brackets are the same size. there 1 of the few standards on a motherboard. they have to be because they will mount standardized cpu's.
the plastic goes under the mounting plate not on top so it shouldnt slip at all.

if you can take a picture of what your doing. 1 showing wherre your putting the plate and 1 with it slipping out.
it might give more insight.
if theres a cpu in the socket you dont.
if you have removed the cpu then you just lift the pressure bracket. slip the plastic under it and close. then lock it down as if you were locking down the cpu.
it may take a little presure to get it to close properly, but dont be overly forceful.

The plastic keeps falling off when I try to close the pressure bracket/load plate. Is this socket type (LGA1150) and Z87 chipset the same as one you have tried?
