Had an AMD Phenom II 955 or 995 and i went to upgrade to a 8350.

When I installed my 8350 I didn't flash my bios first so obviously the 8350 didn't work.
Upon putting the Phenom back in to flash the BIOS I bent some pins incredibly bad and couldn't get them back, so I ordered A crappy am3 cpu from Ebay...

This all went fine, I installed the crappier one in my desktop and it ran fine, over the moon I went and flashed the BIOS using the BIOS from Gigabyte's website, that all seemed to go very well,
Upon installing the 8350 I dropped it (I know.....) and 2 of the pins have now snapped off, so my new 8350 now won't work... I have terrible luck as it seems.

So now I put the older CPU back into my PC (the one I got from ebay) works fine all pins in-tact but now it won't boot past the splash screen and I cant access the BIOS or anything...

Here's the highlights (short version) of my dumb luck....
- Bought A 8350 to upgrade.
- Forgot to flash BIOS, broke the 955 taking it out...
- Bought a crappy phenom to flash the BIOS.
- Flashed the BIOS to the newest version...
- Upon switching to the new 8350 I managed to drop it and broke off 2 pins...
- Putting in the phenom i used to flash the bios and now it won't load past the splash screen...

Apart from the obvious abuse I deserve killing A Phenom 955 and a brand new 8350, any other input you guys can give me to help me out.... >_>

P.S. Although I can see the Splash Screen, I can't access the BIOS / Q Flash / Boot menu and it just stays on this flash screen...

Why would I have to get a new motherboard, it obviously works so it's not broken? Is there any way I can reset the BIOS or if I got a new 8350 would that make it work?

No I couldn't.
But for anyone else, what I did was remove the Battery to reset the CMOS then booted from a windows disc and walala, fixed this problem :)
