Is there anyway to increase the amount of pcie lanes of a cpu to be able to run crossfire 290x's at x16 x16 as apposed to x8 x

Hi I was wondering if there is anyway to increase the amount of pcie lanes on a cpu most run at 16 lanes but i was wondering if it is possible to increase this to be able to run at x16 x16 or x16 x8 as opposed to x8 x8, thank you in advance.
