This really isn't an issue, my pc boots stable but I'd like to get this fixed, it doesn't sound good. So I overclocked my CPU to 3.9 GHZ (FX-8320) I have the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard and a Rosewill PHOTON Series 750w 80+ Gold Certified power supply. So when I hit the power button, everything turns on, then it turns off, then 2 seconds later it automatically turns back on, and something in my pc makes this horrible buzzing noise for about a second then windows just boots normally.

Thank you in advance.

Solution
Reset the CPU to the stock clock and see if that fixes it. I had the same trouble when I was overclocking my 4790K to 5.0ghz. I reset it to the stock clock and that fixed it then later on i found a good overclock for it that is working stable at 4.7ghz

Hello. I just built my unit and I have the same CPU and mobo that you have. Having the same double boot problem. We're you able to fix it? Thank you.

I sure was!

Simply reset your settings in the BIOS, and apply the overclock settings.
