My brother bought a computer from our local pc store, but ever since he handed it down to me, it has been having too many problems. I like to play games on this computer, and when I do so, my computer crashes. This has become rather irritating because it occurs usually 2-3 times a day. It rotates through these three problems, or just doesn't say anything at all. It doesn't just happen while playing games, however, sometimes it crashes when I am watching a video, or just sitting at the desktop screen doing nothing. I took it to someone I know who knows a lot about computers, but he didn't get it fixed. I have ran several virus and malware checks and I think I got that stuff off. I don't really know too much about computers, but I think I know enough to understand what you may respond with. There are days when it runs perfectly fine without a hitch while doing the same things that I do almost everyday, then there are days when it is almost constant crashing. Also, sometimes while playing games or watching video games, static appears on my screen and it ends up having a bunch of lines appear across the screen, or the whole screen just goes blue or some other color. Please help me fix this irritating problem!

iusb3xhc.sys is causing one of the crashes the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver. See if there's an update on the site or on the Intel site

Whats the motherboard??

There's 12 drivers on your system that are old / from 2006 / 2007. I think they belong to Roxio Sonic??

You need to either uninstall it or update it. Old drivers can crash windows. It may not be compatible with windows 8

So I need to uninstall the program Roxio Sonic itself? and it says the motherboard is gigabyte technology co. Do you need the serial number?

You should uninstall Sonic the files for it are old. And maybe causing one of the crashes. And it may not be compatible with Windows 8

Whatever the model is of the gigabyte motherboard, go to the site and see if theres a later version of the drivers I posted

I uninstalled it but i think something popped up about it not having a valid certificate or something along the lines of that, and i ran the scan and it didn't come up with any results, do I need to change it's search parameters?
