Why when my CPU is getting really hot do my fans spin so slowly!!

I recently changed my default cpu cooler to a cooler master evo hyper 212 but unlike my stock fan this one seems to spin at the same lowest speed ALL the time my old one used to get louder and faster with the more intensive games i played but this one would still be spinning at the lowest speed whilst my cpu melts.

Please how can i make it spin faster before I melt my pc

What motherboard do you have? most you can just go into bios and set the fan to run at a set % speed. Or set a profile with motherboard manufacturer software if you have it

Alternate method of setting up a profile is leave the fan on max in the bios.

Your CPU won't melt , your pc will shut down when the cpu have 100 C or more .. or your pc will slow the processor's speed just to reduce the heat , depends what processor you have.
Go to Bios and make the fan to run much faster If this don't work is just because you didn't attached him correctly at the cpu or you have external problems ( RAM , MOBO , VIDEO CARD , POWER SUPPLY ETC.)
