Keyboard keys doing very weird things

My Keyboard (Microsoft SideWinder X4) has recently been acting very strangely. Usually about an hour or so into playing a WoW (i haven't been playing much else recently) my keyboard keys, notably P and U will start pulling up random windows and display switching modes. I have to restart my computer evey time and was wondering if there was a fix for it? Or if anyone else has had the same problem. I have Windows 7

Is your "Ctrl" button stuck down? Sometimes keys can get stuck down if it gets food, liquids, etc. spilled on the keyboard. Buttons like space bar and keys that are on the sides are especially susceptible to this, as you don't really notice when those keys get things spilled on them or your fingers are still dirty when you hit the space bar. Try pushing down keys like Ctrl and Alt and seeing if they get stuck. Make sure you try it multiple times on each key. If it is stuck it's pretty simple to clean it.
