hook up Internet 2 different rooms 2 computers

Hello,
I have my main computer in my office wired in with cable modem hooked in to my Pc, and a netgear R6250 Router for wifi for smart tv,Xbox360 Ect..I'm trying to hook up my sons computer in his room on older computer XP with no net work card just Ethernet connection, How do i get the wifi hard wired to my sons Computer ?? i have two extra routers i can use??not sure if i can use them Or how to hook them up to make it work ...
Id really appreciate any advice on this

wired? - run a wire from the back of the existing router and plug the other end into the back of his pc. Theres 4 user ports on the back of the router.

wireless? - Buy and install a wireless AC adapter into his pc. Setup should be similar what you went thru with the other wireless devices.

i have a router in his room not active yet how do i get that router to connect to my main router in my office...is there a way??? i tried a wireless AC adapter.it don't work on his computer...

No SP2 on xp I will download it and put it on see if it works....Thank you

Yep worked used sp3 for xp pro and usb internet wireless adapter Thanx
