I had a virus that made every program close and said memory cannot be read. So I had a friend give me a hand removing it remotely. After he did, when I boot up everything looks normal only I can't open any programs. Also on the taskbar avg and other services weren't started. Basically making my system useless. What can I do beside a clean install to make programs open? He said a file might have been deleted that opens everything. Please I really need some help with this
