Nearly 10 years ago,i build a really good pc.I spent around 5k and i bought:An evga 680i sli(motherboard),2x Nvidia GTX8800,4gb ram, intel 2 extreme gx6700.I have to admit that this build destroyed all games since 2005.At 2013 1 gtx8800 got burned, and at 2014 the other one.I replaced them with a Gigabyte 750 Ti 2gb Windforce 2x OC edition.I am able to play bf 4 at ultra settings, 60 fps without any lag at all.I have to say that i am really satisfied from my pc.But the time has come and i want to upgrade to a newer system.I cant give more than 700 euros. So,here is my build.I would like to tell me the pros and cons of my build.I suggest this build because i want it to be future proof like my old one. This is my main goal with this new build:Being able to play games for at least 7-8 years(like my old build).

Here is my build:Motherboard:probably a X99(probably asrock or gigabyte or evga)
Cpu:Intel i7 5820K
Ram:16 gb

So,i stated above my main goal for this build.I had a quad core processor(for 9 years),so i would like to upgrade to a 6 core(in order to be and future proof).I will probably change my 750 Ti at 1-2 years. What do you believe? Is this build the best for future proof gaming? What to change?

Solution
Your QX6700 is from 2007, I assume. That's 7 years. Right now, it may have decreased performance, but it still runs well enough. Therefore, X99 isn't ecessary. i5 would last you enough for 7 years.
Hm... Since you're changing the GPU later, might as well as not add it right now.

I would prefer for motherboard x99 in order to be futureproof.I dont want a quad core processor, cause i had one for like 9 years.I would like to upgrade to a 6 core processor.I have case and power supply, and storage(from the old build). The power supply is 850 w.
