Hi guys, I've gone through a bunch of posts trying to figure out this problem. And so far nothing has worked for me. The computer starts up fine without the card, and im getting output. But when I plug in the card, the computer doesnt even make it to the boot screen.
I've checked all the connectors, the PCI-E 6 pin is plugged in correctly. The card works in my other computer, so I don't think it has any issues. Also, I tried an older card I have (evga geforce gt240) and the computer boots up fine, although this geforce card does not require pci-e power. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Windows 7 64bit
PSU: Corsair Professional Series HX 850 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold (HX850)
Mobo: MSI A75A-G55 FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Processor: AMD A-Series A8 3870K Black Edition Quad-Core Processor (3.00 GHz, 4MB Cache, Socket FM1, 100W, Radeon HD6550D
Ram: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-2133C10D-8GSR
GPU: Asus Radeon R7 260x
