Ok so I recently ordered a new cpu and heatsink from my old ones as I wanted better temps and a faster cpu. So I installed the new cpu and heatsink everything powered up whent to the bios and just saved and quit to Windows. Then I checked my temps and they where at 70c so I rechecked and the heatsink wasent seated properly I then reseated it and everything powered up again but nothing showed up on screen. I still get the 2 succesfull start up beeps. (Things I have tried) I have used a different hdmi cable. I have taken out the new cpu and put in the old one. I have unplugged the ram and cleared the csmos And I have taken out the gpu and used dvi with a separate monitor. This is my second thread looking for some genuineness at this point but any little think you think it could be please post thank you in advance! Nothing has worked I'm really frustrated please help.

Solution
Then I suggest testing the components in a local shop, if not too expensive. It's better than replacing components that you're not sure that they are faulty.

yes no bent pins on either of the cpu's, a think that might be usefull to know is when i was screwing in the heatsink i accidently hit the screw driver against the motherboard a couple of times due to it slipping off the screw. could it just be the motherboard is broken now?

i have an msi FM2-A75MA-E35. And i havent tryed that yet. do you literally mean just the heatsink and cpu (or just cpu and cpu fan, fan detaches from heatsink). or do u mean leave the ram in the case fan ect. thanks
