Today was a frustrating day. I completely built a PC and it didn't work. There were no brass standoffs that came with the motherboard or case that I know of, so I put the motherboard into the io shield and screwed it in. The screws dont seem to match up or just a couple do. Are these parts compatible? The PC booted, fans spinned, but nothing would show up on my monitor. I removed the motherboard from the case as I was worried it was damaging it now Im worried it was already damaged

With screws to secure the board so it wouldnt move. I followed a guide on youtube where the guy had standoffs and then screwed in the board. I might have to take a photo of my case and motherboard to show what I mean but the setup wasnt bad the mobo wasnt resting on the case and the pc actually booted just nothing happened:/

This isn't looking good. I assumed since no stand-offs came with the equipment I ordered that I didn't need them. Im starting to regret the fact I decided to build my own PC the graphics card I ordered is to big so I already have to return that so right now Im using the integrated graphics from my cpu. Hopefully I can at least get this pc working...

Upon further inspection I think the board might be broken. Im pissed and might attempt to RMA literally all the parts I bought :( it seems some pins on the back of the board are bent..

Can someone please confirm from these images if this is broken? I think I was scammed. I don't understand how the pins could have bent this much I was very delicate with the motherboard when putting it in the case. I'm just really upset about this whole ordeal and at this point just want my money back at least for the motherboard and then I'll invest more on a better quality one I guess.

The pins look pretty bent. Are they supposed to be like that? My case is supposed to support micro atx which this motherboard is but the stand offs arent in the right places it seems like

They don't look bent to me - it could be because the pictures are blurry. You could take a better picture and/or use MS Paint and circle whatever you're talking about.

Regardless, those spots on the underside of the board are inconsequential to the functionality of the board.

So do you know if this motherboard is compatible with the corsair carbide spec 01? ill test the motherboard out of the case tommorow and see if it makes a difference. I hooked it up with dvi to my monitor today in the case and got no picture but the whole pc turned on cpu fan case fan lights everything
