Cmd.exe error upon shut down

For the past day, I've been receiving this "cmd.exe cannot be opened" or something like that, and I believe it said "error 145" or the like. What is this? I rarely, if ever, use cmd for anything, and I don't believe I've installed anything malicious or something that could edit or change any registries.

This does not seem to be causing any issues, besides popping up right as I'm shutting down my system. It doesn't stall the process of shutting down, at least I don't think so. It still is of concern to me because it appeared sporadically, and as I said, not very long ago. It can be avoided by opening and exiting cmd before shutting down.

I'm on 64-bit Windows 7 Pro.

Edit: I've heard a Windows update released a few days back caused some issues, including this. Does this have any weight to it, and will it go away eventually?

Update KB302777 was installed yesterday. This was supposed to fix the issues the earlier update caused, but instead I'm noticing this seemingly as a direct result of an update that was supposed to be damage control??

Yes.

It's a brutally long tale, but Geforce Experience is obviously causing compatibility problems with the series of updates released last week. Even though updates were released to counter the faulty ones, obviously there is still some content that messes with Geforce Experience. It normally should not be running cmd at all, but for whatever reason it is. I noticed this when scanning for an update, and very briefly the cmd window came up.

I uninstalled Geforce Experience to verify, and the cmd.exe bug is gone. I reinstalled it and it is back again.

Damn.
