Or rather you need an adapter to split the power off an existing molex socket - Google Molex to 6 pin and you'll see what I mean - usually the new GFX card will come with one...but not always and if its 2nd hand it may not have one with it -
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814129282 - you may need to get a Female/Male/6 Pin splitter if there's not a spare cable on the PSU - just make sure you don't reverse the connectors and short something out. Worst case, take it to the computer shop and tell them what you need - should take all of 5 seconds to fit it.
UPDATE:
Actually, I just looked up the spec for the HP P7-1449 - it only has a 300W PSU - the R7260x recommended is 500W PSU - so in short you're trying to fit a Hemi in a Kia Rio!

You may be able to get it to run...just...but you'll likely have failures, especially if things get put under load, but the biggest issue first is going to be getting 75W out of the molex to 6 pin converter and still have enough power for the other devices on the rail such as CD drives, HDD's and fans etc. If I know HP, in all likelihood there is one power cable with every socket already utilised.
I'm afraid HP are famous for only putting the bare minimum spec into their builds so upgrading can be costly
