Hey guys. First off, THIS is my build.
So, I'm in a dilemma; in my country the NZXT H440 (~$370) is about $40 less than the NZXT Phantom 820 (~$410) and about $100 over the NZXT Switch 810 (~$270).
Currently I'm a bit too much over my initial budget, so do you think it's worth it to go for the 820 or the H440? Or should I stick to the Switch 810?
Also, here in Argentina my options are very limited. Only cases worth mentioning at that price tag are Corsair Obsidian 450D (~$365) which I prefer H440 over; Thermaltake Urban S41 (~250) which I'd rather pay $20 more and get a Switch 810; and Fractal Design R4 or R5 (~$405, both windowed) which I don't really consider getting cos I won't be buying aftermarket coolers till I finish paying all the current components first (which will be in a long time from now) and their stock cooling isn't very good.

Anyways, sorry for the wall of text. Hope you guys can help me out make a choice.

Cheers!

I think the h440 is better than the r5 simply because of looks. It beats the r5 in aesthetics by a huge margin. Personally the h440 is one of my favorite cases so its hard for me to tell you to get the 810, but the switch 810 is also a great case. It may not have as many features like the psu shroud but it's still solidly built and looks nice.

Definitely the Phantom 820, I have it and it is fantastic. It has so many fan slots for you to use for a lot of cooling plus it has awesome LEDs inside the case of the color of your choice to shine down on your components inside if you want a really stylish case. It also has fan control but I never use it since I always run at 100% fans, but my case is pretty quiet, I never have any problems with it, worth every penny to me :)

Edit: The case is big so you can upgrade to anything you can think off and never have to worry about if it will fit! :D

Yeah, I'm in love with it. But it is so expensive It hurts. Also, Switch 810 is monstrously big too, so it's pretty future proof as well. I'm aware of its inconveniences such as plastic material, no fans hub, etc. but I think it's the best price/performance of my options IMO.

I just looked at the switch 810, it doesn't have a side fan for cooling though and it doesn't have the awesome LEDs. I'd always get a case with side fans to cool off my GPUs. I like getting the best case possible so I don't have to change it again for years to come rather than get an okay one and finds out you don't have enough cooling later or something and have to change it again.

Well, it has a cooler at the drive bays which can be redirected to cool off your GPU. Plus, aesthetically speaking, I love big clean side panel windows. Red LED coolers can be put later on so I don't worry much about that.

Well, I thought about that too when I got my Phantom 820, my very skilled computer friend said all that directional fan does is disrupt the normal airflow of intake from front, bottom, and side with exhaust for rear and top. Better to not use that.

Dunno. I'm starting to seriously consider going for either the H440 or the Fractal Design R5. It is a tough choice and I probably picked the wrong time to ask this, no one around to give an external opinion..

Well, it's 5 a.m. here, ~1-4 a.m. in the US so I guess that has something to do with it haha. Thanks for your insight though, I'll keep digging through reviews a bit more until I make up my mind. So far the H440 is the winner for price, performance and looks, but still unsure.

Damn, just when I was about to buy the H440. You don't think it's worth $100 over the Switch 810? As much as I like Ultra tower cases, I think it might get a lil bit awkward to build on that case without a 320mm radiator, 3xSLI, etc.
Plus, H440 is a beauty (and matches color scheme of my build) and it would be easier to fit in my desk...
2 hours ago I would have agreed with you, as I was telling him the Switch 810 seemed the better choice. But I guess I'm trying to convince myself the H440 is wiser choice for some reason haha.

EDIT: What about the R5? Do you think it's worth it?

Haha my bad. I meant I'd go all in for the H440. And so I did... The Switch 810 was way too huge it wouldn't fit in my desk so I went for the H440 instead (cheap excuse to feel better about myself for spending 100usd more on a case without significant advantages for the price gap lol).
