$1000- what upgrades should I make to gaming desktop?

For a $1000 what would be the best upgrades to make to this pc?

Intel Core i7-3770k CPU @ 3.5 ghz 3.9 Turbo, DDR3 16 GB, ASUS GTX 770 2gb, 2tb Seagate HDD, Corsair PSU 1200w and Additional
Fans, Gigabyte Tech Z77X-D3H, Thermaltake Black Versa II Mid Tower Case.

If it was me, right now, I would go for a EVGA 980 Classified and a SSD (a Samsung EVO like suggested above). But that is mostly for gaming. And I agree you should wait a bit since prices will lower after holidays and there will be new hardware soon.

The SSD would be a great upgrade though!
