Need suggestion in buying a new graphic card.

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a new graphic card for my PC mainly for gaming purpose. My friends suggested me the following three graphic cards -

1) Sapphire AMD/ATI Dual-x R9 280X Radeon 3 GB DDR5 Graphics Card.

2) Sapphire AMD/ATI R9 280X 3G GDDR5 PCI-E DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP Vapor-X OC Version (UEFI) 3 GB DDR5 Graphics Card.

and

3) Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon R9 270X Toxic Boost 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card.


My system config is as follows:-

- Processor: Intel 3.1 GHz LGA 1155 Core i5 3450.

- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) PC RAM.

- MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-H77M-D3H.

- PSU: Seasonic S12II 620 Watts PSU.

Please advise, which graphic card is the best among the three and whether its compatible with my system. Thank you.

yes it is perfect for a 280x

there are two best 280x cards

sapphire toxic edition 280x is the fastest in the market

asus direct cuii top edition 280x is the coolest and second fastest in the maket

Thank you for a quick reply. Actually my budget is 18000 INR, hence he suggested me to go for the 270x toxic one as he said its the best in that range and is equivalent in power and performance with 280 cards. But others said that if I can buy 280 card, it would be a long time investment as I would be able to play new games for atleast 3-4 years with that card at high graphics.

Also, is my system config suitable for those cards. I'm concerned about compatibility as I doubt my PSU would supply the power needed for these power hungry cards.

Yea.. Like the voyboyfan said, ur frnd gave u gud gpu list to select from.
Sapphire makes the best amd radeom gpus in world.
According to the price tag of that sapphire toxic r9 270x @ 18000, i guess u r from india, right?
That is the bst 270x out there, which comes dangerously close to 280 gpus.
Toxic 270x is bst 4 u budget with best cooling.
But it'l b outdated in near time, so i suggest go with the vapor-x 280x, it has better cooling than the other 280 in that list and its also a factory oc'd gpu from sapphire. Wil b more futureproof.
So go with sapphire vapor-x r9 280x or toxic r9 270x according to ur budget.
Or u can wait 2 to 4 months for the amd to unveil their r9 300 series gpus with greater power and low power requirements.

Choice is urs...
