No go with the cpu u selected. If u take a look at the recommended specs of newer games like assassin's creed unity, u'l c that i7-4770k is in list. So the demand of upcoming games wil b greater.
For now u can go wid i5, but u may need an upgrade in future. Using i7-4790k wil make it futureproof build.
Other build is very good except that crappy old cm hyper 212, it was a gud cooler in its time but now its pretty old. Go with something better like cm hyper d92.
Use min 700watt psu from be quiet! dark power pro 10 series, it'l give u more oc headroom with added safety.

Gud luck building u rig...

I gather its a CM 690 III case.

They should work. But you could probably do better eg

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (£167.50 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler (£24.97 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme6 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard (£133.53 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory (£67.69 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Seagate 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive (£79.95 @ Ebuyer)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card (£314.99 @ Amazon UK)
Power Supply: Corsair 760W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£118.00 @ Aria PC)
Optical Drive: Lite-On IHAS324-07 DVD/CD Writer (£20.47 @ Amazon UK)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) (£69.99 @ Ebuyer)
Total: £997.09

Yea you need a power supply - and I'd recommend a wd blue drive, not a green. Especially if it's going to be your only hard drive. The green version is a slower 'energy efficient' model and really only suitable for archiving files - pure file storage, not for running programs or the os. A better drive yet would be the western digital caviar black but the blue is probably a bit less expensive. The blue is still 7200rpm with 64mb cache, just not meant for 24/7 use like the black edition.
