Hi :)

Didn't know where to put this so I thought I'd just put it in mobile computing. When I turn auto backup on and choose to "Back up all" it says "starting upload". It will stay stuck on this until the device goes into standby. Then when I turn it back on and unlock it, it will go to the main photos photos screen and it will get stuck on "Backing up........ 1322 left". (I have A LOT of photos.)

Anyway I've turned auto backup on and some of my photos have cloud symbols next to them. Does this mean they've already uploaded?

I'm trying to get all my photos onto the cloud to free up storage on my device (I only have 16GB and I have no removeable storage slot).

Any help would be appreciated.

The images you upload that are bigger than 2048 pixels in any direction take up your Google Drive storage space, which is limited. A standard account has 25GB available for free -- are you sure there is enough space on your Google account for all of those images? (Take into account that Google Drive, GMail, and Google+ photos share those 25GB.) If there is not enough storage in the cloud, this might be your issue.

If there's sufficient storage in the Cloud, try only uploading the images below 2048 pixels in any direction. This option is available under the Photos app's settings. If the images get uploaded, try uploading the other images as well, in smaller groups if necessary.
