What likely happens is a graphics card doesn't take much power just to 'idle' and display the desktop. It does need power when gaming. So there's just enough power for you to access the desktop, but once you open a game the amperage needs of the card draw more than the power supply can handle and it shuts down on you. Even though it says '550w'.

That's why so many people suggest larger power supplies. It's not just the watts, it's the amps too. A lot of power supplies on paper look more than plenty - so when people say 'well this wattage and that wattage only had up to 275w, so all you need is a 350w power supply' - and a veteran pc user comes along and says no, you need a 650w power supply, that's why. It may seem excessive but...
You need a different power supply. Those 12v rails don't provide enough power for a gtx 970. It needs at least 28 amps on the 12v rail it's connected to. If a power supply has only one rail, look for one with over 40amps to make sure you have enough for the rest of your components.

Most random shutdowns and unexplained reboots come from either cheap quality or underpowered psu's.

Update - This would make for a decent replacement unless you planned to run sli in the future. Plenty for a single card, 1 12v rail with 48a and the internals are made by seasonic. Good quality psu.

thank you for the answers guys
now, I had a notification about my hard disk, something like "bad, backup and replace immediately"
the PSU seems causing that problem right?
will replace the PSU with the better one soon
