Hi guys,

im not a rig expert here but im trying to build my gaming rig that i'm expecting to run mmorpgs which are graphics intensive like tera online, or the upcoming black dessert. Maybe games like assassin's creed four or gta 4 or even nba 2k14. I just want it to run smooth, no hiccups and then no lag. I don't need to max out the fps or to overclock the speeds. i don't need anything fancy. i would greatly appreciate your opinions and maybe some more recommendations.

PSU -evga 520w 80+ cert
CPU -Intel Core i5-4460
MB -Asus h81m-A LGA 1150
GPU -r9 sapphire 270x
RAM -Kingston hyper x fury 4gb cl9
HDD -Western Digital WD Caviar Blue 1TB

i want the 280x but.... yeah budget doesnt cut it. is there any cheap psu that can be recommended for that one instead of the evga? i head its not safe but its quite cheap here from where i am.

planning to add another ram stick along the way too.

Open to suggestions guys, thank you!

oh yeah i'm sorry that's supposed to be 500w. i think i was caught up with 620 with the seasonic that i can't afford ha ha ha.

here's the link for the psu: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438012 the seasonic is what i want but it almost costs 70$ here from where i am but the evga is only 40$.

Unless there is a special deal, there are no cheap (under about 45$) good power supplies of 500W or more. :(

The cheapest 500W supply that I would buy to run that card (needs 2 PCIe connectors) would be the Antec BP500U at $49 or so.

There are places in a build that I would cheap out on, but the PSU is not one of them. A lower end PSU is a false economy for gaming. You need another $50 of budget to improve the PSU and get the other 4Gb of memory for a total of 8 Gb. I can't see any wahy of affording that unless you want to go to an i3-4150 or a lower power GPU.

hmmm.. i was thinking of just going for an FX 6300 no overclock then r9 280x then i think i could take on the xfx 750w xxx edition semi modular 80+ bronze. that aditional 4 gb of Ram will follow haha i think i will need to sacrifice it first coz i can get that easily in the future. what do you think?

At the moment, this is a great deal. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-110b20750vr Doesn't save money, but you get a powerful semi-modular supply. Prices change fast.

At the moment, AMD is all about the NOW. You can get a decent system, but it has no future; there is no upgrade path. Although the CPU/motherboard combination can be cheaper, when you add the CPU cooler, extra case fans for the heat, and a more robust power supply, there isn't much of a saving, and you are adding complexity.

This is where we're at.

Snce you are going to overclock a lot, you need a motherboard that can handle the power and the heat. you might be able to use a 970 board and save $30. The AMD system will need one more case fan.

An FX6300 has similar gaming benchmarks to a good i3.

Thanks for the list man, unfortunately, some of those parts arent available here. im from the philippines you see, so me getting them from amazon or newegg would cost me an arm and leg. But if i would convert it in to dollars the budget for that i5 would be 650$ more or less.

how about picking the parts out of this list: http://www.tipidpc.com/useritems.php?username=dynaquestpc
budget would be 28,000
