Hi everyone, I am wondering if this rig will be able to handle most games on max settings and if it is future proof. If you have any suggestions feel free to let me know. Thanks

Dont buy Biostar . Core i5 is better and GTX 970 as well .

Some poor choice on the quality side. Biostar sucks, and most of the MSI 970 boards aren't good either. If that 290x uses a reference cooler it should be avoided. Be careful with rose will psus. Their high end models like the Capstone and Tachyon are good, but other models like the green and stallion series are not good. Whats your budget and what country are you in and we can post a better quality and perhaps even a better performing system

In gaming the I5 will outperform the FX. The 970 performs about the same as the 290x but uses alot less power and runs cooler. I was also able to put in a larger SSD and a higher quality PSU that could run a 2nd 970 for SLI.
