Solution

The max resolution will be determined by your Monitor.

If your internet/servers can keep up....
on a 1080p monitor, you will not be playing on Ultra.
If it's 720p, you will have no problems.
What resolution will you be playing at?
And have you ever compared 30FPS to 60FPS? The increase in "quality" by dropping to 30FPS is not worth the decrease in responsiveness and smoothness, if you ask me.

Ultra will be pushing it. Those games are quire CPU intensive, and your CPU is will struggle.

What quality settings do you recommend?

Well arma 3 and day z especially run like crap on anything i also have a gtx 760 and i can play on medium settings 1080p 15-60fps it varies wildly depending on where you are in the games cities are the worst. Games like bf4 you should get very close to high settings at 1080p 60fps.

Thanks a lot for the answer :) Will it run on at least high with 30 - 60 fps however?

I apologise, I meant i7 3770

Ah, that's much better then. The CPU will not be a problem.

Does that mean I will be able to play smoothly on things like High/Ultra with 30 - 60 FPS?

Not arma 3 or day z. You will be able to play on normal smoothly maybe a bit higher. If you want the most performance in gaming i would get rid of the i7 get an i5 4690k and a gtx 970. Then you might be able to hit high or ultra.
