So, you had a 2600K, and you updated the bios to version 25.8? Was everything running smoothly when you did so?
And you don't have to worry about updating the bios sequentially. What you did was fine.
Lastly, if everything is working fine besides the fact that there are no beeps, I think you have nothing to worry about.
