I'm having issues installing CCC on my new computer. I've googled some stuff and tried uninstalling everything and re installing the driver from the website as this thread suggested. But it still doesn't work. I just tried uninstalling again but the control panel is saying that the program doesn't exist.

I'm baffled as to what is going on here. Thoughts and suggestions?

My build;

i5-4690k
MSI Z97 Gaming 5
Windows 7 64BIT
Sapphire Radeon r9 270

Thanks Blacksheep and Michael. So how do I know if the Omega drivers and CCC successfully installed? I tried right clicking anywhere on my laptop and can't find CCC. I see it installed on the C drive under C:\AMD but not sure how to launch the software?

go to C:\AMD\AMD-Catalyst-Omega-14.12-With-DOTNet45-Win7-64bit

run setup.exe

Yeah, I've done all of that already. I guess I was expecting some sort of interface panel allowing me to control things ? If so, I'm not seeing it anywhere.

I tried connecting my monitors to the graphics card instead of the MOBO but I'm getting a blank screen? Is there any connection b/w this issue and the lack of an interface panel?

how do you reset the gpu if I can't get the CCC to appear when right clicking on my desktop ?

Btw- I do notice that there is the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel when right clicking on my desktop.

i said reseat, not reset

remove the card and attach it again.. check the pci power cables and boot

the display should be attached to the gpu while boot

Yeah, it seems a pci power cable wasn't fully plugged in. Display works now but games won't launch due to something missing with the graphics. And CCC is still missing.

Edit: I'm getting this error when trying to update Windows 7; "WindowsUpdate_800B0100" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" . I know AMD CCC requires a .net framework to work on and I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the issue. I've tried several solutions but nothing works so far to get Windows to update properly. If you think this has to do with my CCC problem, I can open up a new thread in the appropraite subforum and work on this before coming back here.
