help with usb wireless network adaptor

I recently got a USB wireless network adaptor for my hp which runs windows 8 but when I put the usb in it tells me it can't download it I need to connect to the internet but I can't do that without the usb device...can someone please help me

If your device came with a drivers disk, follow the instructions to install them.
If it dint and you do need them, use the computer you are using, or ask a friend, to download them.
