Hi everyone,
Basically, my computer runs some games at 6050x1080 very well. However, newer games such as FarCry 4 do not run as smoothly as I would like them to at this resolution.
So I was wondering: If I set the more difficult-to-run games to 1920x1080 while Nvidia Surround is enabled, will I lose performance compared to running at 1920x1080 with the "Maximise 3D Performance" setting enabled instead?
I ask because I now have 4 monitors. The three surround displays are connected via DVI and the accessory display is connected via HDMI. I have to connect one of the surround displays to my second GPU because each GPU has just two DVI outputs. Setting Nvidia Control Panel to "Maximise 3D Performance" will disable one monitor because in that mode, each monitor must be connected to the same GPU, though that isn't an option...
My PC:
i5 2300
MSI P67-GD53 B3
8GB 1333Mhz
2x Asus GTX 670 4GB
I'm really tired so sorry if this makes little sense haha Thanks for any help!
