ASUS z97-A Red LED Lights, are they supposed to show up for 1-2 seconds when booting up?

I just built my first computer for my brother. And everything seems to work great I updated the chipset, LAN, Audio, and Video driver. Updated Windows. And there are no Unknowns in device manager. I just put WoW on the computer for him, and it was running the game very well. And all the fans are spinning. It recognized all 8GB of my RAM.

However, when I boot up the computer I see 3 red LED lights show up on the motherboard (just for 1-3 seconds each, they don't stay on. I have a windowed case, so I can see).

In the manual it says:

"The POST State LEDs provide the status of these key components during POST (Power-On-Self Test): CPU, memory modules, VGA card, and hard disk drives. If an error is found, the critical component's LED stays lit up until the problem is solved".

I'm not exactly sure what this means. To my understanding, it looks like it goes through cycle to check the major components, and if it red LEDs stay on, that means there is a problem. But since they don't stay on, I don't have a problem?

The idle temperatures seem to be ok for stock cooling (everything 31C or lower).

Everything seems to be working, but I am just worried about these lights.

I have an ASUS Z97-A Motherboard with an Intel 4690K.

Here's the exact build.

I'm using Windows 8.1 btw.

EDIT: Looks like it is 4 LED Lights, not 3. The DRAM was in the top right corner where I wasn't really paying attention too.

Thanks guys. I know it sounds like a paranoid question, but I was just scared b/c it's my brothers computer and wanted to make sure everything is ok.

They should make those lights Green and only red if something is wrong lol. For newbies like me. :)
