Hello everybody. I have been stumped after 8+ hours of trying to install my new GPU that I purchased to upgrade my old HD Radeon 6770.

I have upgraded my desktop's PSU to 800w.
I have attached the auxiliary 6-pin connector with the two Molex cables from the PSU in order to power up the GPU.
I am also using a DVI cable to connect to my monitor.

Now, I have uninstalled the drivers from my old Radeon, updated my BIOS to 7.16, and shut off the computer. Removed the old GPU and replaced it with the new one, a GTX 750ti 2GB. I attached the necessary power cables and DVI cord.

However, whenever I turn on my computer it just gets stuck on what I am assuming is the POST screen which tells me to press ESC to blah blah blah.

Pressing ESC, DEL, all of the F-whatever buttons does not work and it appears to be frozen.

What does happen is there is a beep literally every 27seconds for 3 times. On the fourth set of 27 seconds, it does a quick 3 or 4 beeps and it turns off.

I'm a little puzzled. I just built my younger brother's rig with the same GPU (except it wasn't Windforce Edition, but Black Edition).

Here are my specs (hopefully I got it right)

MoBo: IPISB-CU (Carmel2)
RAM: 6GB DDR3-1333
CPU: Intel i3-2020 3.3GHz
PSU: 3R AK 800

New GPU I am trying to install: Gigabyte GeForce (Windforce) GTX 750ti 2GB GDDR5

PS: Also tested the GPU on another rig I have and it works fine, so it has to be with my current build.

If you guys need more information, let me know. Thank you again!

" I just purchased an EVGA GTX 760 to replace the PNY GTX 460 in my HP8e-1114 and it will NOT load past bios. I upgraded the bios to the latest 7.16 for the IPISB-CU (Carmel2) motherboard and still nothing. I have found a couple threads on thespeakeasyclinic where a guy had the same issue and had to swap mobos. This mobo is utter junk. Now I am stuck with my 460 >.<. Buying a new mobo for my hp is like putting a gold ring in a pigs snout ".
