SSD for OS: Read or Write more important?

I have 2 SSDs, and I one has better write and one has better read. I'd like to put the OS one the one which is best suited for the OS needs.
1) Samsung EVO 250gb
2)OCZ Vector 150 120gb

Thanks

P.S. I'll be using both as I have alot of large games (I like my variety ;) )whose load times greatly benefit from being on an SSD

Solution
I would pick the one with a better average of stats for the OS, a combined read/write.

But to answer your question as questioned. Prioritize OS reads.

You will not notice a difference at all between the two in daily use but I would put the OS on the larger drive.

I love my Samsung 840 pro, it is my OS drive. Its painful to use computers that don't have a SSD for the OS.

I hate going to the computer lab at my university because their computers have "fast" high rpm SCSI drives... so slow.

But I know what you mean, I went from twiddling my thumbs while windows booted up to watching in awe at my near instantaneous desktop appearance. Super spoiled, could never go back.

Hey.. remember when you would put in a usb drive and it would say "do you want to use this to speed up your computer?" I never knew how that worked or tried it, but an SSD on USB3... I bet that would rock whatever that thing is. Thoughts?

No. The flash drive you are referring to uses Ready Boost to speed up Windows by basically acting as a fast cache for your hard drive. Ready Boost should be disabled by default if you have an SSD. No need for a fast cache when the SSD is already faster than a thumb drive.

Also USB 3 tops out at 5Gbps and that's a best case scenario assuming that your flash drive and chipset both do 'real' USB 3 speeds. SATA III runs at 6Gbps. So if you want a faster interface you need to go with a PCI-E SSD.

My mobo (hero vii) has a supposed usb3 boost giving it 170% of normal usb3 speeds. haven't tested it, wonder what it really performs like.

As for PCI-E SSD I think I'm gonna wait on a price drop along with some better choices lol.

Oh damn i can't test the USB3 boost because if regular USB3 is 625 MB/s, I don't have anything that fast - much less 170% faster lol. What is the point of that feature I wonder? When faster SSDs come out maybe? But they would have to be the next SATA4 1200MB/s or something when that comes out cuz sata 3 tops out at 600MB/s (something about overhead i think, see wiki). I don't rapid mode on the evo works the right way to saturate the usb3 either...
