I'm looking for the best 8GB DDR3 memory in dual channel, any suggestions?
Specs:
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero
CPU: Intel i5-4690k

One of my options is:
G.Skill Trident X
A ton of people says this is the best RAM out there, but I also want some other options to take a better decision. Also want to know if the trident X are better than the corsair vengeance pro? (I know platinum are beast but they are way to expensive)

Solution
Look to the Tridents in 2400/10 2x4GB for 8GB total.

A little more costly are the 2400/9 sticks running at 9-11-11-31 which are the best 2400 (about $23 more than the $87 2400/10 set

I've been testing some 2400 32GB sets and the Tri's came out on top, Corsair Vengeance Pro was 2nd (didn't have the Platinums), a Team Xtreem 2400/10 set came in third. Think I've run most all the Tri sets on my Hero's and all have been great
I'd have to go with Mushkin Redline ... it's not the logo or brand, it's what's in it:

Hynix memory modules .... most vendor's have switched to low quality RAM modules, while the redline's are the only vendor line I know of at this point using Hynix.

One way to differentiate Hynix..... stock timings are 10-12-12-28 at 2400 ..... everyone else is 10-12-12-31. Hynix modules are routinely overclocked by extreme enthusiasts to over 1.9 volts.

The Corsair Vengeance Pro used to have Hynix up thru version 4.51, but then the switched to a less expensive vendor; about 6 months latet. The Dominators also dropped Hynix and also switched.

If I was to choose to buy memory between the Trident X and Mushkin Redline, I would get the Redline. I've only had good experiences with Mushkin and did have a bad experience with G.Skill (ages ago).
