I have a 15" Toshiba Satellite A70 laptop with a dual 3 GHz processor and would like to upgrade to Win 7 Pro 64 bit and swap out the IDE drive and replace it with an mSata SSD, using a short IDE-mSata adapter. I think it will fit physically in the space available . What are the possible problems of going this way.

theoretically it should speed it up since it's a sata but the controller is still an IDE on top of that your gonna use a " IDE-mSata adapter" and of course dont forget the BIOS since most SSD needs ACHI mode to function at full performance.
